Participation in public invitations to tender

  • The province of Burgenland’s procurement system is being digitised. In future, from the publication of the contract notice (or the prior information notice or the invitation to tender in a restricted procedure) to the award of the contract or the withdrawal of the procedure, communication with tenderers will also take place through the Austrian Register of Tenderers (ANKÖ) at the following link:  https://burgenland.vergabeportal.at/List

  • The documents required are specified in the tender documents for each procedure.

  • The deadlines are specified in the tender documents.

  • Participating in a tender is free of charge, as is downloading the tender document.

  • EU Procurement Directive, Directive 2014/23/EU,

    EU Procurement Directive, Directive 2014/24/EU,

    EU Procurement Directive, Directive 2014/25/EU,

    Federal Procurement Act (Bundesvergabegesetz) 2018,

    Federal Act on the Awarding of Concession Contracts (Bundesvergabegesetz Konzessionen) 2018,

  • The procedure is set out in the tender documents and depends on the type of procedure (open procedure, 2-stage negotiated procedure, etc.).

  • The requirements are specified in the tender documents in the ‘Eligibility and selection criteria’ [Eignungs- und Auswahlkriterien] section.

  • All documents must be uploaded via ANKÖ platform. The procedure can be accessed at burgenland.vergabeportal.at/List

  • When contracting authorities award contracts to undertakings, it is essential that public procurement law be adhered to. All works, supply and service contracts must be awarded in accordance with the Federal Procurement Act.

  • The competent body is the body awarding the contract.

  • A digital signature (e.g. mobile phone signature) is required for the use of all services and to submit tenders.
